Owner and Company Background
Susan and Bill Asnip, owners of Century 21, Low Country Realty, have over 44 years combined Hilton Head Real
Estate Experience. Their company is habitually among the top ten firms in annual closed sales volume of the
seventy real estate companies that make up the area's MLS. According to Susan... "We are able to
accomplish this because we believe listing or purchasing property should be a fun experience, and we are dedicated
to giving our clients the highest level of service obtainable! Providing quality service enables us to establish
lasting relationships with our customers, whose loyalty is instrumental to our success!"
After first discovering Hilton Head Island in 1959 and vacationing several times annually for 18 years, Susan and Bill
Asnip, Sr., settled in Sea Pines in 1977 with their six children. Bill joined Sea Pines Company as a sales agent with
Susan as his assistant. He became the Vice President in Charge of Real Estate and Broker in Charge for the Sea Pines
Company. In 1983, fulfilling their dream of owning their own business, the couple purchased a book store in Harbour
Town (the pulse of Sea Pines) and opened their own real estate company! They joined the CENTURY 21 ® System in 1986.
With over 44 years combined of Island real estate experience, Susan and Bill have helped customers buy and sell property
from the southern tip of Hilton Head to Hardeeville (on the mainland), and have served the real estate needs of thousands
on Hilton Head Island!
Bill and Susan encourage involvement, and are quite active in the professional real estate community of Hilton Head Island.
Bill is a past president of the Island's Multiple Listing Service. Both Susan and Bill have served on the Multiple
Listing Service Board of Directors. They are heavily involved in community affairs and the activities of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
